On our recent trip to Oban, we had the pleasure of staying at Kilchrenan Guest House. the superior room we stayed in on the first floor was absolutely stunning, with a four-poster emperor bed and large bay windows offering breathtaking views of the islands of Kerrera, Mull, and Lismore. the house is truly a gem, set in the most picturesque surroundings imaginable. It was evident that they take great pride in maintaining the housekeeping standards, as everything was immaculately clean and well-kept. the breakfast menu was diverse, offering traditional Scottish porridge, full Scottish breakfast, vegetarian options, and continental choices. The location of Kilchrenan Guest House is ideal, with easy access to the center of Oban and its many attractions. We were able to explore the beautiful gardens in the area, as well as enjoy leisurely walks through the countryside of mountain, loch, forest, and moor. the view of Oban Bay from the house is simply stunning, and we found ourselves returning to the windows time and time again to admire the scenery. Overall, our experience at Kilchrenan Guest House was truly unforgettable. We can't wait to return and explore more of this unique island where locals and wildlife live in harmony. We highly recommend this charming Victorian home to anyone looking for a relaxing and picturesque retreat in the heart of Argyll.
